"Shovelhead is a jam rock and roll band hinting into the
southern rock culture of things. Reminds me of Allman
Brothers, Skynyrd at times. Great guitar rock jams and
melodic vocals that are right up front and sparse with
jams and rock in between. This stuff is definitely hinting
in southern rock, but make no mistake- it`s the 70`s classic
jams that really makes it for me, blues drenched guitar solos
and soul. If you are into bands that have the jam like Five
Horse Johnson or Mississippi Sludge, then you will probably
dig on this. Swamp blues rock and roll to go!"
