Описание: Nightmare - Visual Kei рок коллектив из Японии. Особый успех группа приобрела после исполнения открывающей «The World» и закрывающей «Alumina» песни к аниме «Death Note».
Nightmare образовалась в январе 2000 с подачи Sakito и Hitsugi когда большенство из участников учились еще в школе. Вскоре Sakito пригласил в группу Ni~ya, а Hitsugi пригласил Yomi. Zannin присоединился когда узнал что в школе образуется группа. На участников группы большое влияние оказали X Japan и Luna Sea, поэтому они вначале играли песни этих групп. Дебютом группы можно считать 2003 год, с выходом сингла «Believe». А через 3 месяца они стали первой в истории группой выпустившей тройной A-side сингл «Akane/Hate/Over». 6 июня 2007 года они выпустили сингл «Raison d'etre» который стал оупенингом к аниме Claymore. 23 сентября 2007 группа впервые выступила на арене Nippon Budokan.
