Dagda is an Irish duo comprising songwriter/producer Reg Keating and programmer/producer Phillip O'Reilly. They began working together at Owl studio in Dublin, Ireland during 1997 and quickly established a good musical partnership. Phillip plays keyboard and guitar while Reg plays keyboards and a selection of Irish flutes and whistles. For most of their productions, they engage additional top session musicians and vocalists to give them the exact sounds they are looking for. Dagda is an ancient Irish name for the chief of the Celtic gods (Celtic God of the Earth)..

Очень красивая музыка ирландского дуэта Dagda. Многим напоминает Enigma, но, слушая более внимательно, понимаешь, что она гораздо глубже, чем кажется на первый взгляд.
Первый альбом "Celtic Trance" получил массу положительных откликов в США и сразу же занял лидирующие позиции во многих чартах. Также треки коллектива входили во многие компиляции, оказываясь в компании таких исполнителей, как Sting, Sarah Brightman, Art of Noise, Era, Mike Oldfield, Enigma, Ennio Morricone, Deep Forest, Moby, Faithless и др. Завораживающее звучание исконно кельтских мотивов в обработке Dagda создает атмосферу расслабляющую, но в то же время воодушевляющую, вселяющую энергию и придающую сил.
