Доп. информация: Микс кантри и стоунер-рока - вот стиль, в котором играет группа The Pink Mountaintops из Ванкувера. Эта группа - сайд-проект Стивена МакБина, вокалиста, гитариста и автора песен группы Black Mountain, ранее известной как Jerk with a Bomb. Ранее The Pink Mountaintops выступали под названием One Easy Skag. МакБин начал играть с Jerk with a Bomb в конце 90-х и группа выпустила три альбома и сингл под этим названием. В конце 2003 Jerk with a Bomb и One Easy Skag сменили названия, и летом 2004 The Pink Mountaintops выпустили одноименный альбом. В 2005 одноименный альбом Black Mountain стал одним из самых заметных инди-альбомов года. В 2006 году Pink Mountaintops вернулись с альбомом Axis of Evol.
