"The Recent Foresight" закручивает слушателя словно вихрь. Даже демонический глаз, изображённый во всю обложку, напоминает это природное явление. Круговорот ветра хватает за гривки, кружит в хорошо поставленном танце и резко отпускает в самом конце. Для малоизвестной немецкой команды из Карлсруэ, презентовавшей вторую точку в своей дискографии, слишком здорово.

"Rage Towards Apathy" – их выставочная тема, которая мгновенно западает в память и долго не оставляет. Мелодик блэк-метал трио обёрнут в качественный плотный кибернетический звук, который придаёт материалу особый аромат. Музыканты звучат очень уверенно и профессионально, технически отточено и как будто легко. За их музыкальной мыслью интересно следить, ведь она доступно воспринимается. Гитарная работа интересна и разнообразна, клавиши появляются ровно там, где они необходимы, а ударные бьются словно сердце спортсмена. Технически немцы зачастую уходят в дэт-метал, своим материалом пробуждают в памяти ассоциации с Dimmu Borgir и Rotting Christ. Главная заслуга группы в том, что она сумела создать семь очень хороших песен, которые заставляют думать не об инструментальных достоинствах Lyfthrasyr, а только о самой музыке. О мелодиях, в первую очередь. А это уже немало.
