Pan European composer Michael Neil has been producing a style of Electronic Music that largely defies catagorization - due in no doubt to the different cultural influences he has experienced over the years. Whether it is the early work inspired by orchestral symphonic form and vast ambient soundscapes, or the latter tendancy towards experimental music, he welcomes you all to journey with him through his unique soundworld.

I am a composer working in that broad genre of what is known as Electronic Music and I am now in my third decade and still very active composing music that crosses over into a variety of different styles. I am largely associated with "orchestral symphonic" work exemplified by albums like 'Cornubia' & 'The Tempest'. But I have a "cosmic" side to my music character as demonstrated in 'Towards the Unknown Region'. These titles are already available along with a back catalogue of music through Music Zeit. Of late, however, I have been experimenting with other styles such as Electroacoustic music and live midi and signal processing where the notion of composition and performance is questioned in the context of our experience of "live" music.
