Продюсер "Басс музыки" и композитор Steve Milanese. C выходом первого же миниальбома на лейбле Arcola, стиль Milanese окрестили ёмким понятием "digital grimecore" - тогда понятие dubstep еще не было в ходу. Впрочем, Milanese нельзя обрамить как "dubstep". Его звучание, пожалуй, наиболее «дарксайдно». Хотя многие его треки и построены в ставших «классическими» dubstep-рамках, но постоянно разбегаются во всех направлениях от industrial techno до breakcore. Noir electronic, jungle, grime, dancehall, electro и dubstep: все это - составные части мрачного, агрессивного звукового ландшафта в его треках.
