For its first release of 2010, Ai revisits Sinner DC’s Crystallized long player from last year. The Crystal EP is a digital only release that ups the dancefloor quota of many of the originals whilst simultaneously managing to maintain the laidback vibe that made Sinner DC’s own versions so suited to headphone listening.

All of the six remixers were handpicked by Sinner DC and are all appearing on Ai for the first time. With each new producer delivering a fresh and unique re-interpretation of the source material, the overall result is fresh and exciting whilst still being true in spirit to the original release.

1. SINNER DC / DIGITAL DUST (RYAN DAVIS EPIC MIX)
With previous work spanning a plethora of respected labels such as Manual, Archipel, Absolutive and Proton, Ryan has a proven track record for blowing minds with his own particular brand of melodic techno, having previously picked up support from a diverse range of electronic heavyweights including Laurent Garnier, Ivan Smagghe, Miss Kittin & Depeche Mode.

2. SINNER DC / SUNRIZED (CUBENX REMIX)
Radio programmer and unstoppable music lover, Cesar Urbina aka Cubenx is a rising star in Mexico’s electronic music scene. Taking on board a wide range of influences from shoegaze to breakbeat via techno. With early releases appearing on a variety of Mexican net labels, Cubenx’s fan base grew and in 2007 was signed to Agoria’s renowned Infiné label.

3. SINNER DC / THE MEDIUM IS THE MESSAGE (RONE REMIX)
Erwan Castex, a young Parisian DJ and producer, better known to the world as Rone is another of the Infiné camp to feature here. With comparisons of Rone’s earlier work already been drawn with the likes of Danton Eeprom and Apparat and having being praised by the likes of Laurent Garnier, Ellen Allien and DJ Hell the big room vibe of this remix is sure to help him maintain these high standards of critical acclaim.

4. SINNER DC / V (GHOSTAPE REMIX)
Other than the fact that Ghostape is based in Geneva. Little is know about this mysterious and talented artist. Ghostape’s explorations into Lo-Fi electronica, micro disco and minimal are furthered here with a remix of V that will only add to the intrigue kickstarted by his previous work.

5. SINNER DC / COAST (SENNH 'S SUNSET REFIX)
Other than an EP on Traum Schallplatten and a remix for Piemont Records, this is the only Sennh material to be released thus far but once again, this is a very strong outing from a talent that deserves to be giving himself more studio time.

6. SINNER DC / GLASS ALLEY ( 360 / PATRICE BÄUMEL & NUNO DOS SANTOS REMIX).
360 Soundsystem is Patrice Bäumel and Nuno Dos Santos (Compost Black Label / Trapez / Traum). Bringing the remix EP to a close, the pair make heavy use of the original vocals but introduce a shuffling electro rhythm to propel it into new territories.
