Элиас Вильянен — известный финский гитарист, называемый на родине «финский Joe Satriani». Родился 8 июля 1975. Известен как автор сольного проекта, с участием многих звезд финской тяжелой сцены. Известен тем, что с 2007-го играет в группе SONATA ARCTICA.
Сначала он заменял на концертах гитариста Яни Лийматайнена, когда он проходил военную службу в рядах финской армии. Затем был объявлен полноценным членом коллектива, вследствие ухода Яни из группы. Записал вместе с Sonata Arctica новый альбом «The Days of Grays». Для его исполнений характерны яркий стиль, высокая техника и очень чистая интонация, высокая виртуозность.
