You get straight-forward kickbox cardio plus kickbox-oriented body-bar/dumbbell toning. It’s designed to both burn fat and shape your entire body. Violet Zaki begins with kickboxing basics — isolated punches and kicks that progress into punch/kick combos (often with lots of breaks/pauses to explain technique). Then she works your upper body with slower body-bar toning and faster punches-holding-dumbbells routines. That’s followed by a controlled series of squats and kicks that also use the body bar to maximize intensity (e.g. placing the bar on your calves as you do slow kicks). It all ends with a solid set of abdominal floorwork. Requires 2 to 5 lb. dumbbells and a body bar
