Upright Acoustic Bass - библиотека классического итальянского контрабаса в формате GIG.
Представленный интсрумент был создан пизанским мастером Guiseppe Del-Serra, в 1817 году.
4 динамических слоя на ноту, функция keyswitching обеспечивает мгновенный доступ ко всем доступным вариантам артикуляции инструмента. Колесо модуляции регулирует уровень (корпусного) резонанса.

The Larry Seyer \ NemeSys Bass library consists of 7 .gig files and represent a full gigabyte of material. Our proprietary and lossless compression allows everything to fit on a single CD and use less hard disk space.
Unless you are using a MIDI guitar controller, you will probably only use three of these files. The library consists of picked notes, x-notes, slides and picked harmonics. There are no bowed samples as this is a Jazz bass library. All the sustain notes are stereo, with multiple velocities and no loops. They decay naturally until they die out. A big feature of this library is the 'body resonance' which plays as the notes release. The amount of resonance can be controlled in realtime with the Mod Wheel.

Optimal Upright Bass -
This is a carefully enhanced version of the bass. The sweetest notes were handpicked for the sustain samples and enhanced for cutting through a mix by carefull lowering of certain harmonics and by hand picking the most appropriate notes.

12 Position Bass
This bass works exactly like the Optimal Upright Bass with two exceptions.
1. The notes are unprocessed and mapped chromatically according to position. They have a more mellow and darker sound as a result.
2. This bass features 12 instrument variations representing the 12 fingering positions of a real upright bass. These are 12 separate instruments sharing the same set of samples and are accessed using patch changes. This way you can accurately play a whole phrase from a single position or have the positions change as the bass line goes up and down the range of the instrument.

Switchable Position Bass
This bass offers another way of playing the individual strings but from a single instrument. Empty keys F,G,A and B1 expose the entire range of individual strings. You can open up each string in realtime as you play. The rest of the strings stay in their natural positions.

Single String instruments
Here we have four separate .gig files that can be put on four separate MIDI channels to use with MIDI guitar controllers. Each string can then have it's own separate pitch bending and slides.

All the key ranges and MIDI controls are identical for the Optimal Upright Bass and the 12 Position Bass.

The Switchable Position Bass has similar key ranges and some of the same controllers as the other two. See the descriptions and pictures for the differences.
