Destrophy is an alternative metal band from Des Moines, Iowa City, Iowa, formed in 2002.[1] They are currently signed with Victory Records.
Destrophy's self-titled album, Destrophy, was released on Victory Records on 27 October 2009[2], but was not their first release. In 2003, signed Curt Smith to their management team and won the Rock 108 Battle of the Bands competition. The next year, they released their first album, Chrysalis, on Inner Light Records.[3]
Destrophy has toured with OTEP, Drowning Pool, Korn, Disturbed, 5FDP, Stone Temple Pilots, Saliva, Avenged Sevenfold, Papa Roach, Soilwork, and Buckcherry, among others. The band's MySpace page keeps an accurate accounting of their current tours and shows.
