NEW ! GS3 24 Bit Features:
This version of our library was not ported from GS2, this is a totally reprogrammed from the ground up library, the addition of almost unlimited dimensions in GS3 permits now 32 transition velocities instead of the 16 in GS2, what this translates into for the users is much smoother transitions from one velocity to another specially in the softer velocities where special attention was given to ensure better response when playing very softly. Obviously 24 bits does sound better and will cut through a mix easier when mixed in with other instruments.

As in the other version of the library you get 3 recorded perspectives, Ambient, Close Miked and Player Perspective in 12 recorded velocities (32 transition velocities) with Release Samples and Pedal Noises Fx

One of the most important if not the most crucial elements of this new version is that we actually went back to the studio where we initially recorded the library to capture Pedal Up and Pedal Down Body resonance and Bridge resonance impulses to use in conjunction with GS3's most powerful and innovative feature, the embedded Gigapulse Pro convolution engine. These were taken from the actual Piano used to record the library, yes you heard right 2 different sets of impulses ! The bridge resonance impulses sound a little brighter and the Body resonance impulses sound much darker giving you 2 different options of Resonance emulation, these really do make a huge difference in realism, in conjunction with Pedal Fx noises, this library at the special introductory price of $149.95 is in our opinion the most complete Yamaha C7 Grand Piano library ever created.

After Months of preparation, Vintaudio is proud to present the Ultimate Yamaha C7 Grand Piano Library. This 8 Gigabyte (Gigastudio160 and EXS24 version), and Halion, Kontakt and (EXS24 24 bit version) 24 bit 12 Gigabyte library 12 CDs with over 3000 samples, is the largest and most complete Grand Piano Library ever created in any format. With great precision and care, we sampled a world-class Yamaha C7 Conservatory Grand Piano with a variety of techniques, resulting in three stunning 2.5 Gig sized instruments for Gigastudio 160 and EXS24 and three 4 Gig sized instruments for the 24 bit Halion Kontakt versions to suit your specific sound and project needs: Close Miked, Ambient, and Player Perspective.

We used only the world's best recording gear - Avalon and Millenia H3V preamps and B&K mics - to produce this groundbreaking library. Initially recorded and edited in 24 bits, each sample of the 16 bit Giga and EXS24 version was carefully dithered to 16 bits using Apogee's UV22 technology, all other formats are 24 bits.

All 3 instruments have 12 recorded velocities for each of the 88 notes (6 Pedal up and 6 Pedal down), and absolutely no loops were used. Note length varies between full decay (for higher notes C6 and up) and 20 seconds (for C1 to C2) notes, with an average of around 16 seconds decay for the remaining notes (C3 to B6). An optional release layer is also included for added realism. The library also comes with filter Modulation presets for a darker or brighter tone, and some memory friendly presets.
