Mute are a fast, melodic and technical skate punk band from Quebec, Canada. The original members came together in 1998, playing covers of their favourite bands before recording their first demo, “On Fire (Come On!)” in 2000. They then released their first EP in 2002, “Blueprints” and first full-length, “Sleepers” in 2004. They shared the stage with many skate punk illuminates, including Belvedere, Choke, Satanic Surfers and Adhesive. Their latest album, “The Raven” was released in 2007, met with high reviews and praise. They are currently recording for their third album.
