Свершилось – вышел восьмой альбом от Attila, и он полностью оправдывал все мои ожидания. «Villain» с самого начала ударяет в лицо мощным зарядом из качающего звучания и бешеной динамики, оставляя досадный осадочек от предыдущего «Chaos» позади. Группа собралась и сделала отличную запись, переполненную мясными ритмами, полюбившимися зачитками от Криса Фронзака и желчной лирикой, затыкающей за пояс всех хейтеров.

Конечно, ни о каком развитии здесь говорить и не стоит. Коллектив давно идёт по протоптанной дорожке, и единственной одышкой был сайд-проект Криса Bone Сrew, где он больше углубился в модное трэп-звучание. Хорошо это или плохо – решать вам, меня же «Villain» вполне устраивает, благо он максимально похож на их отличный «Guilty Pleasure». Глупо ожидать от этих балагуров чего-то сверхъестественного, так что пусть и дальше радуют наши ушки старомодными брейками и грубыми строчками про секс, наркотики и безбашенные тусовки. Это же Attila, черт возьми!
