About Hip Hop Domination

We heard the cries, the emails, the word around the WEB... You need drum samples that knock, bang and punch on your beats. Here they are, ear threatening intense Drum Samples! When we pushed the drums to the limit we just kept going and cranked the smack out these joints. I'm talking straight up, Hip Hop, ear busting speaker blowing Bass Drums, Snares, percussion and more.

75 Bass Drums - Push the limit on thr 60 hz frequency.

This makes for speaker pounding efficiency. After we made sure to peak the transients so bass drums punch through; we spent time with Waves plugins to push the 60 hz frequency so the bass stick through on the punch.

83 Snare Drums & Rimshots - Analog Distortion in the key.

We took real Snare Drum samples for top Drum Kits, added body by pushing the 125 hz frequency to the edge, and added an analog feel to each through light and taste full distortion.

81 Hi Hats & Cymbals - Room Duplication and Mimicking.

On top of different recording techniques, we made sure to duplicate settings of different drum rooms and locations with our Hats. The result means totally unique and crisp sounding samples for different tones.

47 Claps - Filling The Room with Transients

We made sure these claps can carry a track in place of a snare drum. We altered the transients and peaks of the claps so they stick out in your productions while also layering creatively for the classic clap sound.

52 Percussion & Various - Simple and Clean

We tried to let the percussion ride this time around. Clear, natural percussion lets the original sound shine through. We also processed some Tom Drums for drum filling breaks.

Nothing but the best went into these samples including recording in ProTools 7 on Audix D series mics, Pearl and Tama Drum sets, Avalon 737sp, Waves Plug-in Suites. We took these drums to the edge so no more complaining about weak drums!
