От автора: "I think the relationship between suffering and art is a pretty common discussion topic for philosophers and other deep thinkers. For me, I think some of the greatest beauty can come from pain, and that was the main focus of making this album. I sat down to write the songs for this album as a sort of therapy, ways to cope with certain hardships that I had faced over the past few years. The songs deal with friends who had taken their own lives ("Come Back") or family members who had been mistreated ("No Time For Tigers"). They deal with crises of faith ("Morning Hymn") and relationships I should of gotten out of much earlier than I did ("Haunted House"). But in the midst of any pain and suffering, there is always some kind of brightness up ahead. And I hope with this album, I've accomplished showing you that truth."
