J.R. Preston is a singer-songwriter from Illinois that emerged in the Underground Country scene in 2004 with the Demos you see here. These were used to find a full-time country band that J.R. eventually found in 2010. Known as Prairieland Rebels, they have released one EP so far and played live shows throughout Illinois and the Mid-West with artists such as Those Poor Bastards, David Allan Coe, Rachel Brooke, Joe Buck, The Calamity Cubes and too many others to name. On this release you will find 15 original tunes as well as 12 covers of songs by George Jones, Hank Williams Jr., Waylon Jennings, David Allan Coe, Johnny Paycheck and even Andy Griffith! Tombstone Shadow has had these Demos since they were recorded and finally decided they were meant to be heard in May of 2011...
