Romantic ambient pop epics by "cult ambient techno artist" Brock Van Wey aka bvdub. Rather than his signature padded throbs, bvdub dallies with broken grooves owing more to hip hop and electro than techno this time out, but the vibes remain as lush as ever, balancing whirring 808s with endless vocal reverbs and blooming synth brass in 'Embrace, Release', switching from noisy hip hop to slowfast fibrillations in the brooding chord cloud systems of 'Feel, Unfeel', and shoegazing trip hop on 'Broken, Whole'.
