They met years ago while he was helping Courtney Love with her album at Linda Perry’s studio. They developed a fast friendship and mutual admiration for each other and their music. In her own words: “We remained friends and he has become a huge emotional support in all aspects of my life. When I played him some of my latest demos his response was really positive.” So much so that he decided to produce her next record, which he has not done with another artist in over a decade.
