[spoiler="Об исполнителе (группе)"]
Symbolic is the vision of four members: Steve Potts- guitars, Bobby Fernandez-bass guitars, Scott Bruce- vocals and Tom Wallace- drums and percussion. All the members have a long list of bands,live shows and recording credits to there resume. Symbolic grew out of a relationship spanning more than 20 years of playing together between Steve and Bobby. Alien Strange, there first band, was popular in the late 80's through the 90's, and re-emerged in early 2000 through 2002. Not wanting to throw in the towel the two kept refining a sound that was unique in style and direction. Finding the right vocalist however proved to be a difficult task to say the least. In stepped Scott Bruce. A close friend of Steve's having met when they played together in Scott's previous band "Violent Mood Swing". Ascension became the first incarnation of the project back in 2007. It consisted of Steve,Bobby,Scott and drummer Jon Bain. Ascension started playing out live and was well received by crowds at many local clubs. In early 2009 Jon was replaced on drums by Tom Wallace, who to his credit is a very accomplished musician. His former bands include "Atomic Cafe',"Hard Echo" and "Uncle Junkie". Finally complete the decision was made to find a new name for the band. Ascension began the journey but it was time to evolve once more thus "SYMBOLIC" was born.
