Formed in the late 80's, The Deboning Method started out as a punk/ thrash band covering the likes of Celtic Frost and Slayer, but quickly moved on to the then emerging school of grindcore of pioneering bands such as Napalm Death, Carcass, and Morbid Angel.

Members changed throughout the years but always there remained the crushing talent of percussionist Derrick Roddy, who has gone on to record with such standouts as Malevolent Creation, Hate Eternal, Nile and most recently, Divine Empire.
