Evil Wings is an interesting band in that they are bordering Progmetal, but have very symphonic and ambitious writing that fall heavily into the Progrock variety, I cannot really make a valid comparison with any other bands except possibly Garden Wall, the music is very technical, and moody, if ever a band could capture the best ingredients of all progmusic genres this would be it, it seems as if everything is here.

As I listen to this CD, the feeling is like hearing many different bands, yet it is all the same group! As you may guess the musicianship is is of the highest quality, the singer doesn't possess the most gifted voice (a common Italian thing), but he is more than tolerable and fits the complexity of the music nicely, all in all a nice CD, it seems Italy as it was in the 70's is putting out many of prog musical gems that are fading into obscurity, this is one to put the phones on for, and enjoy the listen.
