Образ рекомендуется разворачивать на флешку из под виртуалки (так как ближе к родной системе),
а также можно с помощью TransMac из под Windows.

В новой версии исправены ошибки прошлой версии и в раздачу добавлен ISO файл который можно записать в Windows на двухслойный DVD диск. И обращаю ваше внимание что dmg файл записывается и на флешку и DVD (двухслойный) из под OS X.

Из под мака: Restore Yosemite.pkg ложится в одну папку с образом dmg и оттуда запускается.
