Soulful Piano & Keys is the first in our new Foundations series that shines the spotlight on single instruments and styles, bringing them to you in compact, affordable sets with a strong emphasis on creativity and inspiration. This debut collection focuses on the keyboard, covering styles from soulful RnB, jazz progressions, neo-soul and perfect pop hooks to emotive piano themes, warm inspirational chord sequences and improvised melodies.

All loops were captured during a full recording session at CAPSUN HQ with professional pianist, tour musician and musical director Tom Phelan. Known for his soulful keys and impressive live work, we asked him to improvise as he would for a bestselling artist or top-level producer and he delivered a powerful, passionate performance! We chose our favourite sections and formatted them into a straightforward but deep collection.

All 100 loops are included as MIDI and 24bit WAV audio from 70bpm to 130bpm, split into 4 bar and 8 bar performances for ease of use. The instruments featured include Grand Piano, Classic Rhodes, Vintage E-Piano, DX style keys and synthetic experimental keys. Import them, pitch and chop, effect and twist and inspire something new each time.

If you prefer working with your own virtual instruments, simply import the MIDI into your favourite DAW and instantly use the original royalty free performance, edit the notes and tempo to fit your production or alternatively route the MIDI out to any compatible hardware synth, iOS or Android App for full control.

Soulful Piano & Keys is perfect as song-starters or layers for styles including House, Future RnB, Hip-Hop, Chill Trap, Pop, Ambient, Future Beats, Dubstep and great for composers of Production Music and cinematic styles for Film and Media.
