В творческом багаже Стива Торна оказались довольно неплохие мелодии где-то из области мягкого и ненапряжного арт-рока в духе Genesis, King Crimson и Marillion, с фолковым налетом ирландской закваски наподобие Dare, с налетом атмосферной электроники и умиротворяющей психоделии типа лучших работ Питера Гейбриэла. Торн демонстрирует довольно серьезный диапазон своих музыкальных способностей. Он неплохо справляется со всеми видами гитар (акустика, нейлон, двенадцатиструнка, электрогитара), роскошно играет на бас-гитарах (обычные и безладовые), издает чарующие звуки на синтезаторах и весьма грамотно использует различные шумы и спецэффекты. Плюс имеет очень неплохой голос – мягкий и довольно эмоциональный, прекрасно подходящий для такого типа музыки...
