A collection of interwoven vignettes set in the rural village of Wang Pi Kul. A country boy and his girlfriend, an old man working in the paddy fields, school students searching for traditional rice, a busy teacher and his unmotivated student, an aging father who feels more worthless than his crumbling wooden house, a father and his young son, a chaotic new house, a man searching for his wife, and other quiet, touching stories of ordinary village life.
A contemplative, observational drama about everyday people and the slow rhythms of rural Thailand, continuing Boonsong Nakphoo’s focus on the lives of ordinary, lower-class characters.
