Tracks 1 and 2 recorded live at Notre Dame Hall on 19 July 1979. Track 3 was a rehearsal at Stoke Newington in November 1979. Tracks 4 to 6 are live tracks recorded on lo-fi equipment at the Jeanette Cochrane Theatre on 10 November 1979. Tracks 7 to 10 were recorded live at the Electric Ballroom on 29 February 1980. Together with the Wire - Document And Eyewitness LP, these recordings represent the entire performance at the Electric Ballroom with track 7 being the complete version of '12XU', only a fragment of which was used on the LP.
Tracks 11 and 12 are from the Rough Trade 'Crazy About Love' single released as RTT 123.
