Sons of Apollo is an American progressive metal supergroup formed in 2017 and composed of drummer Mike Portnoy, bassist Billy Sheehan, keyboardist Derek Sherinian, vocalist Jeff Scott Soto, and guitarist Ron "Bumblefoot" Thal.
I had a request for this and I was already working on a compilation from them. But once I listened to this I scrapped mine.
This is great shit they cover a lot of the classics and pull it off beautifully. Make a note to turn up the Van Halen cover And the cradle will Rock.
Van Halen dropped the ball with it, they only played it live a few times and than dropped it from playlist in 1981 and did not revisit it until 2007. And Roth could not do the song justice cause the life caught up with him and his voice is shot. Sad, but these guys Kill it. And the rest as well.
