Action Mars: War Logs is set on the Red Planet. The plot of the game depicts the events taking place one hundred years after the disaster that plunged the planet into choosy. Water has become the most valuable resource, and various organizations are struggling to access its resources. The main character whose actions are controlled by the player is a former member of one of the fighting factions - Roy Temperance. Like many, he tries to ensure his survival in this inhospitable place. By the way, he is entangled in an intrigue that can influence the fate of the entire Martian colony.

The game is based on classic cRPG solutions. Players can develop the character of the main character through dozens of skills and perks. It is also possible to join encountered characters to the team and create new items. The creators also made sure that actions and decisions taken by Roy had an impact on the course of the story.

An important element of the game is the fight, which takes place in real time. The main character and his companions have to face hundreds of opponents, including numerous beasts inhabiting the surface of Mars. A large arsenal of available weapons and varied combat abilities come to the rescue.
