John Legend [born John Stephens on December 28th 1978 in Springfield, Ohio] is a three-time Grammy winning American RnB singer, songwriter, and pianist. His debut studio album, the platinum selling 'Get Lifted', was released in late 2004.

'Evolver' is the third studio album from the neo-soul superstar, which follows 2006's 'Once Again' and 2008's 'Live From Philadelphia'. While maintaining the consistency of his trademark sexy, sophisticated sound, this album takes a more consciously upbeat attitude on some tracks, including the club-bound first single 'Green Light' [featuring Andre 3000] which evokes the 80s dancefloor. The album also features contributions from Kanye West, Estelle and Brandy.
