Op een mooie, rustige avond nemen twee avontuurlijke tieners bij maanlicht een naakte duik in zwembad met genetisch gemanipuleerde piranha`s.
Ze beseffen niet dat zij al snel visvoer zullen zijn voor een hongerige school mensen etende piranhas!
Er wordt een onderzoek ingesteld naar hun verdwijning en een uiterst geheim overheidsexperiment komt aan het licht; Operation Razorteeth dat in de doofpot gestopt is.
De situatie verslechtert wanneer de lokale overheid bij hun zoektocht naar de tieners de piranha`s laten ontsnappen.
De onverzadigbare gekieuwde monsters komen in de lost river terecht en gaan stroomafwaarts in de richting van een pas geopend vakantiepark.
Als de roofvissen in lost river-meer dan zal de gevolgen verschrikkelijk zijn, tenzij een dappere bewoner van het platteland(Bradford Dillman) en een slimme,
mooie onderzoekster(Heather Menzies) de dodelijke roofvissen voorgoed kunnen tegenhouden.
Ze moeten zorgen dat de dam gesloten word want als de piranha`s eenmaal de zee hebben bereikt kunnen deze zich voortplanten en niet meer te stoppen zijn.

Description:

On a nice, quiet evening, two adventurous teens nude moonlight swim in a pool with piranhas GM `s.
They do not realize that they soon will fish for a hungry man-eating piranhas school!
An investigation into their disappearance and a top secret government experiment comes to light; Operation Razor Teeth that was covered up.
The situation worsens when the local authorities in their search for the teenagers piranha `s release.
The insatiable gekieuwde samples come in and go right to the Lost River downstream in the direction of a newly opened park.
When the predatory fish in Lost River, more than the consequences will be terrible, unless a brave residents of rural areas (Bradford Dillman) and a smart,
