Per i giocatori più avventurosi non poteva mancare "The Watchmaker", il gioco per pc sviluppato da Trecision. Siamo a Londra, 18 agosto 1999 ore 2.30, e il detective Darrel Boone, nel bel mezzo del suo riposo, riceve una telefonata da un associato dello studio legale "Norman & McGreen". Il detective si precipita in ufficio perchè deve risolvere un importantissimo caso legato al mondo del paranormale: il suo compito è ritrovare un oggetto misterioso, rubato a un cliente dello studio legale, in grado di amplificare l'energia che scorre nei più nascosti recessi del pianeta per poi liberlarla provocando effetti devastanti. Se il caso non sarà risolto prima di mezzanotte nessuno potrà mai raccontare cosa sia accaduto... Da alcune indagini risulterebbe che l'oggetto misterioso possa trovarsi in un castello austriaco del XIV secolo. Il giocatore, che dovrà trovare l'oggetto rubato entro la mezzanotte, sarà completamente libero di esplorare ogni angolo del mondo e potrà gestire contemporaneamente i due personaggi principali grazie a un continuo scambio di informazioni. Il gioco offre ben 80 diverse ambientazioni ricostruite con grande precisione e cura.
