Deze Chileense roadmovie speelt zich geheel af in en om de auto van een gezin uit de middenklasse,
dat een vierdaagse trip maakt naar het noorden van Chili. Het zal hun laatste reis zijn als gezin. De
reis die zo vrolijk begint met allerlei autospelletjes, krijgt al snel melancholieke ondertonen als ieder
zijn eigen bestemming in de woestijn blijkt te zoeken: de kinderen willen alleen maar naar het strand,
terwijl de vader afkoerst op een nieuw leven in een ander appartement, en de moeder vooral
verlangt naar een niet meer bestaande plek waar alles nog bij het oude is.

Two children travel with their parents from Santiago Chile to the north of Chile for a family holiday.
The landscape's loneliness and the car's confinement help bring out the couple's troubles and the
children learn that this might turn out to be their father's farewell and their last family vacation.
