Plot:
Upon the death of his brother, Larry Talbot returns from America to his ancestral home in Wales. He visits a gypsy camp with village girl Jenny Williams, who is attacked by Bela, a gypsy who has turned into a werewolf. Larry kills the werewolf but is bitten during the fight. Bela's mother tells him that this will cause him to become a werewolf at each full moon.

Trama:
Larry Talbot, figlio di un gentiluomo gallese, torna a casa dall'America dopo la scomparsa del fratello maggiore. Qui, fatta la pace col padre, conosce una bella ragazza del villaggio vicino alla sua tenuta. Una notte la ragazza e l'uomo si avventurano nel bosco per farsi leggere le carte da un gruppo di zingari. Uno di questi è un pericoloso licantropo che aggredisce un'amica della ragazza. Larry Talbot, per salvarla, uccide il licantropo con un bastone dal pomo argentato, ma viene accidentalmente morso sul petto.

Sinopsis:
Larry Talbot vuelve a su pueblo natal tras la muerte de su hermano, para sustituirle como primogénito de la familia. En el pueblo conoce a una joven, hija del joyero. Junto a ella y otra amiga, se adentran en el bosque para visitar una feria gitana que anda por la zona. En el bosque, un lobo ataca a una de las mujeres, y al intentar defenderla, Larry es mordido por el lobo antes de acabar con él.
