De dertigers Theo en Nat zijn verloofd. Voor wat het lijkt hebben ze een goed leven vol van liefde,
muziek en lol in hun gezellige appartement in Brooklyn. Maar Theo is echter verveeld met zijn werk als bruidsfotograaf
waardoor hij een apart bedrijfje start: Gumshoot. Een service waarbij cliënten hem in kunnen huren om stiekem mensen te stalken met zijn camera.
Wanneer hij een opdracht krijgt om foto\\\'s te maken van een mysterieuze exhibitionistische vrouw verandert een simpele klus in een voyeuristische obsessie,
die Theo dwingt om de waarheid over zichzelf en zijn aanstaande bruiloft onder ogen te komen.

Storyline

The strained relationship of an engaged Brooklyn couple, Theo (Chris Messina) and Nat (Rashida Jones).
Theo is bored with his job as a wedding photographer-the generic backgrounds, the artificial posing,
the stilted newlyweds-so he develops an unconventional side business, called \\\"Gumshoot,\\\"
a service where clients hire him to stalk them with his camera. Becoming infatuated with one of his clients,
a mystery woman who goes by the name Subgirl (Meital Dohan),
Theo develops a voyeuristic obsession that forces him to confront uncomfortable truths about himself and his impending marriage.
