Thanx to a very good friend for providing another rare workprint.
Ok, this is one very rare workprint. Majority of you prob wouldnt have heard of this movie never mind seen it. Thats because it was never released properly. It only ever had one showing at a film festivel for wich it won awards, but it never made it to cinema or dvd. This is from a bootleg vhs of a complete workprint of the movie that was transfered to dvd and passed directly to me alone this time. Its fully unedited and unsensored.It has a counter running on the screen. That and the movie "countdown" are the only give away that this is a workprint.

The dvd for this had issues. Mainly damaged i believe through ftp corrution. Source i was passed was iso. Required clever work to extract the vid and audio. Even then it still had a few minor ticks and the aduio was 12 1/2 secs oos.

Work Done:
Video: Video on this was nice nuff for a vhs workprint. Nothing in the way of impure edits or anything and no missing effects or audio. Just needed cleaned n restored due to fading and colour loss. Wrote a synth script that deinterlaced, cropped and resized. Cut off the static bar at the bottom. Rebalenced colours, saturation, brightness, contrast. Deblocked it as it was needing it, sharpned then cleaned out static and noise wi 2 levels o filtering. As a last effort, i atialised the picture.
Audio: First i had to sync the start. I dont like delays as not every player honours them as they should so i had to append 12650msc of silence onto the start of the track to sync the vid. I then filtered out a fair amount of tape hiss n hum. Gave it my usual rebalence and a bit of widening to open the channels appart a little.
Overall: Had to trim three bad areas out. These were caused b the issues i had wi the dvd. Minor pauses n ticks. It totaled 4 seconds of edits.

This is a very good vhs workprint this time. Its alot nicer than the last effort i worked with. Wi the filtering and balencing its easily one of the best vhs rips av watched. Njoy this very rare, cleaned movie from KiNGDOM.
