Sinopse: Gru (Steve Carell) é o maior vilão do momento, mas tem seu posto abalado pelo novato Vetor (Jason Segel). Para recuperar o topo, ele planeja roubar a Lua, auxiliado pelas criaturas Minion. O problema é que três meninas órfãs veem nele a figura de um pai. Diante disso, Gru fica dividido entre roubar a Lua e abandonar as pequenas ou ficar com elas e desistir dos seus planos.
