Defendor tratta la vita di Arthur Poppington, un uomo con evidenti problemi mentali, come stabilisce la perizia psichiatrica fatta allo stesso da parte di una psicologa nel corso della pellicola, che stufo

delle varie ingiustizie presenti nella cittadina nella quale vive, si autoconvince di essere un supereroe, pur non avendo nessun superpotere, potendo contare solo su un grande coraggio, delle armi non

convenzionali e l'appoggio di Katerina Debrofkowitz, una prostituta che ha i giusti agganci per condurre il supereroe dal suo più grande nemico, Capitan Industria, in realtà un trafficante di armi serbo aiutato

da alcuni poliziotti corrotti.


Storyline

A crooked cop, a mob boss and the young girl they abuse are the denizens of a city's criminal underworld. It's a world that ordinary Arthur Poppington doesn't understand and doesn't belong in, but is committed

to fighting when he changes into a vigilante super-hero of his own making, Defendor. With no power other than courage Defendor takes to the streets to protect the city's innocents
