If you've had previous 2010 office instalations please run the Microsoft 2010 Clean up utility then restart your computer to completely remove office

Then unzip the "x86" rar file with rar, winzip, or 7-zip then click set up

After instalation click the office activator to activate your Office

Activation sometimes takes a couple tries so let it do it's thing

You must activate every 180 days

You can set up a task to run the activator automatically. Just open task scheduler and click create basic task then type office activation and click next then select "daily, weekly, monthly, etc then click next then select "start a program" then click next then brouse and select the office activator program then click next then finish and once a day it will automatically activate and reset the 180 day activation cycle duration. So nothing manual necessary to keep office activated forever
