Sibu, the son of a Projection Machine Operator of a village cinema hall, dreamt to be a hero and came to Kolkata. In a fair he saved Pallabi from some gangsters. Pallabi organized a massive protest against the Home Minister as he tried to save his son, who raped and killed Pallabi’s best friend. To resist her the Minister decided to get Pallabi married with his rapist and murderer son by force. Hearing this Sibu fled away with Pallabi and promised her to protect from the Home Minister. They moved from one place to another and Pallbi began to trust and then, loved Sibu. But after a few days Sibu handed over Pallabi to the Minister. Pallabi became a captive in the Minister’s fort.
