Een rijk echtpaar wordt vermoord gevonden, de dochter Finn wordt gewond en getraumatiseerd
aangetroffen. Als enige overlevende getuige wordt door de politie een schuiladres voor haar gezocht.
Haar traumapsychologe Sam Graham is net verhuisd naar Essex met haar vriend Danny en dochter
Elsie, en biedt Finn onderdak aan. Op aanraden van haar huisarts Adam Daley neemt Finn de
uitnodiging aan. Eenmaal bij Sam knapt Finn redelijk op, en alles gaat goed tot de schoonmaker, die het vermoorde koppel vond, vermoord wordt. Als Finn ook nog van Sam te horen krijgt dat ze niet langer kan blijven, slaat de paniek toe. Als Sam een avond niet thuis is verleidt Finn Danny. De volgende morgen worden de twee vermoord gevonden, en moet Sam vechten voor haar geloofwaardigheid.

A wealthy couple is found murdered, the wounded and traumatized daughter Finn is found. As the only surviving witness, the police sought a hiding place for her. Her trauma psychologist Sam Graham has just moved to Essex with boyfriend Danny and daughter, Elsie, and offers shelter to Finn. On the advice of her doctor Adam Finn Daley takes the invitation. Once at Sam Finn recovers fairly, and all goes well until the cleaner, who murdered couple found murdered. If Sam Finn also told that they can no longer keep, save the panic. One evening when Sam is not at home entices Danny Finn. The next morning, the two found murdered, and Sam must fight for its credibility.
