The film starts with Tarinikhudo, one of Satyjit Ray's characters, saying some boys of his fanclub about ghosts. The first and second stories he said about ghosts was Satyajit Ray's Anath Babur Bhoy and Brown Saheber Bari. The last one was Sharadindu Bandyopadhyay’s Bhut Bhabishyat.(initially four stories were taken to film, but the fourth one, Lucknowe Duel was dropped later to avoid the length)
