Colombian Donato and Cuban Estefano (evidently, they don't have last names) join forces in Miami to produce a lively, imaginative Latin pop album. Slickly produced, this album mixes mostly dance numbers with a few sweet soft songs. Although they're all love songs, there is a lot of variety here, with Donato's Colombian roots faintly evident on many of the numbers; the cumbia beat here, sounds of an accordion (in reality a synthesizer) there. The ageless Julio Iglesias makes a guest appearance on two cuts, but is not particularly noticeable, if you don't count the promotion of the CD. Estefano wrote the very emotional "Mi Tierra," the title song of Gloria Estefan's hit album of the same name.
