"In an effort to keep up with the new technology in recorded sound, [Original Producer] Gus Dudgeon has recently spent five weeks in D.J.M. Recording Studios remixng a large portion of Elton John's back catalogue from the original multi-tracks into the new Digital Stereo format.

He has tried to keep the mixes identical to the originals but, with the benefit of all the latest advanced technological equipment, the quality of the sound has moved this timeless music into a new dimension of listening enjoyment."
