On June 22 2002, Hong Kong cinema lost one of its most prolific and highly influential figures when director Chang Cheh passed away at the age of 79. Chang directed more than 90 movies during the course of his career, including such classics as One- Armed Swordsman, Golden Swallow, Chinatown Kid, The Five Venoms, and so many more.
Brave Archer and His Mate is the fourth and final saga from the famous Brave Archer series. Considered a Venoms film, Brave Archer and His Mate stars international favorite Alexander Fu Sheng, however this time Kuo Chue is the new hero who is out to defeat the mass murderer of his martial arts masters.
In fact this action-packed, Venom-filled film is even choreographed by the three core Venoms , making it a unique combination of grand Martial Arts World mayhem and special Venom-style high flying kung-fu.
