Synopsis:
Based on a novel by the celebrated author Shirshendu Mukherjee, Eagoler Chokh is a tense who-dun-it featuring Sabar Dasgupta, the ace detective of the Kolkata Police.

A woman, Nandidni (Payel Sarkar), is murdered and her friend Shivangi (Joya Ahsan) is shot in the head. Shivangi's husband Bishan (Anirban Bhattacharya)comes home to find them and calls in the police. The local police think it is a simple case of dacoity, but a sub-inspector (Gaurab Chakraborty) is not satisfied. He calls in Detective Inspector Shabor Dasgupta (Saswata Chattopadhyay) who, with his assistant Nandalal (Subhrajeet Dutta) Starts to investigate.
The more Shabor investigates, the more worms spill out of cans. Bishan turns out to be a womaniser and a drunkard, yet a person who seems to attract women of all kinds. He is the prime suspect, but there is also Shyamangi, Shivangi's sister to contend with. Shivangi herself has been keeping secrets and what role does the young Jahnabi, who lives with Shivangi and is her general factotum have to play?

To know that you have to watch Shabor Dasgupta unravel thread after thread of a mystery which apart from everything else requires him to delve deep into the psychology of the criminal..

A good quality DVD which needed only a slight color correction to remove the excess yellow tint, some sharpening and a little bit of detail enhancing. We are uploading a x264 rip (This one), A x265 tiny rip but of much better quality and a 720p x264 upscale.
