Block outgoing connections (Little Snitch, Hands Off!.. or something like that)
Disable automatic update checks.

Block connections (host file) of /etc directory:

Open /etc directory:

Spotlight and type /etc (another option: Place Finder Shift+cmd+G and type /etc)

Copy host file to Desktop and add:

update.algoriddim.com
www.algoriddim.com

Save host file and added back to the directory.
