The headless corpse of the head of the Chao Clan and the theft of a jade tiger set in motion another noteworthy collaboration between three of the biggest names of Shaw Brothers cinema. Director Chu Yuan, martial arts novelist Ku Lung, and kung-fu superstar Ti Lung-the same trio who created The Magic Blade and Clans Of Intrigue.
The stellar line-up in The Jade Tiger is even more inpressive than its predecessors, with Ti Lung and Lily Li as members of the Chao Clan, and Lo Lieh, Yueh Hua, and Derek Yee in the rival Tang Clan.
At the center of it all is the jade tiger, a mysterious heirloom that contains the key to the bloodshed and betrayals that befall the powerful clans.
