At first sight Robert McCall seems a normal man, worker with habits and a
precise routine. In the past he was a professionally trained policeman able
to fight every situation. After her wife's death he wanted to reset everything
and forget the past. Every night he can't sleep so goes to a bar to read books.
There he meets Alina, a cute girl who has fallen under the control of
the Russian mafia. Robert sees something different in Alina, therefore
decided to set her free as long as she could live the life her way.
Nevertheless, Robert begins a fierce lonely battle against Russian mafia.
Anyway this fight turns out to go over the story of Alina, concerning
Robert's hidden desire of making justice and help oppressed; so he has to
face a unmerciful corporation who wants to finish him.
